ACCOMMODATIONS:

We've been able to arrange a special rate at the Hilton Garden Inn.  We've used this hotel several times and everyone seems to really like it.  It is on the beach and has a heat pool and hot tub.

All training will take place at the Orange Beach Recreation Center, 4849 S. Wilson Blvd, just off Canal Road


All styles and ranks are welcome

 

Training is 9am till 4pm, Saturday
               9am till Noon, Sunday

 

COST:

 

$70 if paid before December 20, 2007

 

$90 if paid after

 

Tuition received before 12/20/07 also includes a Camp T-shirt

RICHARD WORTHINGTON, Akayama ryu Jujutsu Hachidan
A direct student of Alex Marshall, founder of Akayama Ryu, for over 20 years, Worthington Sensei also holds black belts in Judo and Aikido. His dojo is in Birmingham, Al.

CHRIS DEWEY, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu, Shichidan
A former USJA Judo Coach of the Year, Dewey Sensei is the owner and chief instructor of the Starkville Martial Arts Academy in Mississippi.

MARK BURTON, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu Shichidan
Burton Sensei teaches in the New Orleans area and is a former All Marine Judo Team Member.  He received his initial training and rank in Japan while serving with the Marine Corps.

ED BYERS, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu, Godan
Owner and chief instructor of 7 Owl Dojo in North Carolina, Byers Sensei is also a well-respected Judoka.  He has been a Law Enforcement Officer for over 2 decades.

JANET DEWEY, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu, Yondan
Dewey Sensei is acknowledged for her teaching abilities and her kata demonstration.  She teaches out of Starkville Martial Arts Academy.

ERIC WELCH, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu, Yondan
Teaching out of Memphis, Welch Sensei holds black belts in Judo and TKD along with his AR rank.

EARL WRIGHT, Kodokan Judo
Wright Sensei has a Dojo in Pensacola and is a former USMC Judo Team Member.

LARRY BALDWIN, Kodokan Judo, Rokudan
Sensei Baldwin was introduced to Judo in the 1960's and trained in the famous Watanabe Dojo in Yokosuka, Japan while stationed aboard the U.S.S. Constellation. He is the Head Instructor of the Armed Forces Judo Club, NAS Pensacola.

MARK BARLOW, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu, Hachidan
Barlow Sensei is the Chief Instructor for Akayama Ryu. He teaches out of the Hombu on the the Alabama Gulf Coast and also holds Dan rank in Judo and Aikido.
